How is the CMS (Content Management System) selected?

We have our own software, which contains a set of rules for each of the CMS. For example, to find sites on WordPress, you need to get the source code of the site and find one of the signs. Here are the most common ones:

  • meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress…
  • <a href=”/wp-content/themes/…
  • <a href=”/wp-content/plugins/…

But not all database engines have visible signs in the source code of the main page. To determine such database engines, we use wildcard URLs and search for a certain sign there.

To achieve the highest possible and high-quality volumes, one site is tested from several places of the planet, in order to avoid “unavailability” of the site.

This is only a brief description of the work principles. There are lots of nuances in selecting and filtering. Stability and quality of our software has been improving for several years.
